Not Quite Ready

Jacob and I have a play date at Chuck E. Cheese on Wednesday, so we went as a family today to see how much fun he'd have.

First we researched it online and saw they have a toddler area, and I was excited that it would be a place he could play, not just an arcade area.

Too bad our Chuck E. Cheese decided not to put in all the extras, because it is basically the same as the Mountasia across the parking lot with only arcade games. Not only that, but their smallest package for tokens is $10 which gives you 40 tokens and each game is one token. After a ride in two different cars and a couple trips around the carousel we had 36 tokens left and were out of activities for Jacob.

I think we'll still go back on Wednesday so he can watch the mouse show there, but we'll have a supply of coins for quite some time.

Instead of calling it a day we headed to the mall playground. At first Jacob just stood and watched all the kids running around with such thought that we weren't sure if he would just take off and start chasing them. Instead he crawled around and played with all the equipment there and talked to the kids. It's great watching him interact with all the kids he meets now.
