Today was moving day in the office. I boxed up all the files and junk from the office to move it all to the office right next to mine. I did my best not lift anything too large, but I'm extremely nervous all my bending up and down and moving things wasn't good.
I think I'm just too nervous.
The dark ominous feeling is starting to pass though and I'm hoping all is a-ok. Stick baby stick!

Below is a survey I've seen on a lot of other pregnancy blogs. There isn't really much to report, but thought I'd start early. Once there is more to show I'll begin to add pictures with the weekly survey.
* How far along?: 4 weeks 6 days
* Total weight gain: Lost .6 pounds
* How big is baby?: Estimated about the size of an orange seed
* Maternity clothes?: No, but this morning I thought I looked bloated
* Sleep?: Bed time is getting earlier and sleeping well through the night
* Best moment this week?: The three positive pregnancy tests
* Movement?: Just getting cozy, too small for movement
* Food cravings?: Nope! However the smell of some foods absolutely disgusts me
* Labor signs?: None for a long time
* Belly button in or out?: Innie
* What I miss: Nothing yet. Except Michael ordered a beer at dinner one night and it looked delicous
* What I'm looking forward to: Telling our parents and finding out when my first doctor's appointment will be
* Milestone: We're pregnant!!!!!

Jumble of Thoughts
1) Yesterday was my first day at work since finding out we are pregnant. It was impossible to think about work. Especially because all of a sudden the syptoms I've been analyzing for the past few weeks decided to stop for a while. When my nervousness finally got the best of me there would be some sort of syptom pop back up. As strange as it sounds... some discomfort comforts me because it lets me know there is still something going on.
2) I'm so excited to start telling people! This feeling is offset by my next random thought...but I'm still excited. We've come up with great ways to tell the family and I think each way we decided on really compliments their style. I've talked to both sides of my family since we found out and surprisingly it was fairly easy not to tell because I'm so excited about the big reveal. Timing on this is perfect also because we're going up to Buffalo to see my mom next weekend. It means a lot that I can tell her in person, and not have her suspect anything. Also, we can tell all parents within a week of eachother which makes me extremely happy!
3) I read about chemical pregnancies and the high probability of miscarriages today. This is all kind of freaking me out now. Once we hear a heart beat I will fell a lot better about it all. Also hearing a doctor say everything looks good will help. Right now we're only telling family and some close friends that I wouldn't mind knowing if something went wrong. I would probably need their support anyways. Our prayers were answered for getting pregnant so now we just need to get this baby to stick.
4) I believe my uterus is growing. Last night like clock work I had to pee almost every couple hours. There were no interruptions in my sleep, but the same pattern is starting again today. I've been drinking a lot of water, but I don't think any more than normal.

All About Food
First the good story:
Michael and I went to Chili's last night for dinner. As soon as I saw the pictures on the 1 appetizer, 2 entrees, and dessert for $20 menu, I knew that's what I wanted. We got the queso, both got the chicken tender tacos, and for dessert the chocolate chip molten cake with ice cream on top. I almost felt like I needed to explain to the waitress that I'm pregnant and it is ok for me to eat this much so I didn't feel like such a piggy.
It was all very delicious, but that isn't even the best part. This morning when I weighed myself, I was down 0.4 pounds. With all this eating I'm doing it is shocking I'm not gaining, but actually losing.
Michael and I have also decided we're in a weight gaining contest. I'm looking at gaining about 30 pounds over the next nine months, Michael is looking to gain 40. I think I have a good shot at winning.
Now the bad story:
This morning I stopped at the grocery store on the way to work to get lunches and some breakfast stuff for the rest of the week. I know I need to drink more milk so I got two of those individual serving bottles of low fat milk with an expiration date that seemed fine. Halfway to work I realized I was really hungry and needed to at least get something in my system. I opened the bottle of milk and as I put the bottle to my mouth there was a strange smell, but I was already in motion to drink and got a little on my tongue.
That is how I found out that I did NOT get low fat milk, but instead two bottles of low fat butter milk!
Gross!!!!

Got to Love the Digital
As I mentioned we wanted to try again this morning to make sure. Because I didn't fall asleep until almost 4 this morning, I was shocked when I woke up and it was already 8. I didn't hear Michael so I was afraid he had already left for the day. Luckily, Michael works close to home and asked what I was doing as I popped out of bed and ran to get the test. I bought a lot of OPK (50) and HPT (20) from Amazon since I didn't think it would happen this quickly for us. That's what the test above is. We only had one digital test and I was nervous to pull it out now thinking it may still be too early for it to pick up the hormone for testing and then we'd have to go buy a new one. Also it is easier to over analyze lines and make them say what you want to say, but if the digital ended up reading "Not Pregnant" I would have broken down crying right away.
IT IS OFFICIAL! WE'RE PREGNANT!!!
Still Awake
Sleeping doesn't seem like an option tonight. Strangely enough with all the fatigue I've had lately, I can't even close my eyes to get any sleep tonight.
Around 11PM I tried to go to bed and force myself to sleep, but every time I closed my eyes my mind went back to the big news from tonight. Now it is almost 2AM and I'm searching for something good on tv to keep me distracted.

BFP! BFP! BFP!
Big Fat Positive!!!!!!
Today was my first day off to sit at home and relax. I have a few things on my to-do list, but seriously got almost nothing done today.
About the time Michael left I started deep clean the kitchen. By the time I had everything done but the dishes I was too tired to go any further. Not ready to sleep, but just no energy left. Then I couldn't stop eating. I started the morning with breakfast and by the afternoon I had a salad, ice cream bar and 3 pork empanadas. I was out of control!
Even though it was the middle of the day I decided to take an OPK, just to see what it said. 3 minutes later I had two dark lines.
I texted Michael that I was still on the "I'm not pregnant" kick, but that there seemed to be a good chance. Then I had to get out of the house and walk around instead of going crazy at the house.
At Michael's I saw cute baby things, but didn't want to get my hopes up, and also wanted to leave some fun for when I actually did get a plus. Then I was off to Bed Bath and Beyond to find some items to organize our pantry. For some reason I was burning up in the store. It was embarassing that I felt like I was sweating simply caring a basket around the store. I couldn't take it any more.
I ran home and took a test. It didn't look good, but as a couple minutes passed by a faint line began to show. I waited at the garage door for Michael to come home and excitedly showed him the faint line!!!!
We're pregnant!!!!!!!!!!
Tomorrow we're going to try for a darker line to make sure, but we've already planned how we're going to tell everyone. Can't wait!
No more waiting to find out!

Better Luck Next Time
Today is the last day of my working all weekend! 7 days of work in a row; complete!
It really hasn't been too bad. Saturday was the worst though since I had my THEA exam at 8AM was supposed to be at the center by about 11. As I opened the last section of the test I realized it was 20 to 11 and there was not way I was getting out of there any time soon. Luckily I was only about an hour late and I had prepared for that.
Now I have Monday and Tuesday off this week, followed by Friday off the next week and Monday the next. I love, love, love non-5 day weeks!
Back to things I don't love...the stupid two week wait.
However, there is no more waiting, I know I flucuate on my feelings a lot, but I officially think I'm out of the game for this try. All of my syptoms were most likely created in my head and the only reason I was extremely tired yesterday afternoon is because my body is used to resting on Saturdays, not getting stressed about a 3 1/2 hour test and working.
Oh well. We gave it a shot and I learned a lot. Not saying that I want to continually repeat this pattern, but once is ok.
In other news: tomorrow I go turn in my application to get into the teacher certification program. They had a story on the news the other day about teaching being a recession proof job and how people are noticing that and in Houston teaching has gone from a seller's market to a buyer's market. That makes me a little nervous, but I've always been a pretty good interviewer.

Maybe a Little Crazy
I don't like things I can't plan. I do like knowing all details and having a grasp on when things will happen and how they will happen. No control is not my idea of fun. AT ALL!
DPO 1-3 I thought I felt little bits of symptoms. Then I realized that was nuts and the chances of becoming pregnat our first time really trying was slim. By day 4 I felt nothing and realized everything had been in my head.
Now we're at day 5 and I am so nauseous this morning. It could very possible be the fact I had a piece of cheese and banana chips for breakfast. Not my normal breakfast, but it sounded good at the time and I was out of milk at the office. An hour later and I still can't kick this feeling.
Even though I was still down on the whole being pregnant thing I put in the syptom while tracking my temp and the early pregnancy estimator finally showed up. I am at 44 points right now for my symptoms correlating with other pregnancy charts. I'm guessing that is out of 100 and I'm using it as a percent. For only 5 DPO I'm feeling pretty good about our chances now and really hoping this gross feeling is for something good.
Now back to waiting...

3 dpo and Crampy
For those of you who don't know (pretty much everyone) Michael and I have decided to expand our little family. We don't think Scoot is completely sold on the idea, but he'll warm up to it.
Through www.thebump.com I've learned that getting pregnant isn't quite as easy as they make it seem in the after school specials. There are people that have been trying for years and have spent boocoos of money for the chance of having a baby. We're ready for whatever comes our way, but I really, really, really hope this doesn't take too long.
This is the first month I've done a full cycle of charting my tempratures and how I feel each day. Hopefully it will up our chances!
Anyway, today is 3 days past ovulation and my imagination is doing a number on my body, or I'm having the start of some solid symptoms.
- Yesterday I couldn't stop eating. It's normal for me to snack multiple times throughout the day, but even I thought it was going a little far with all the trail mix I was consuming. I kept pestering Michael about when he'd be ready for dinner because I was so ready to eat again, but when we finally ate, I couldn't only finish half of it before getting nauseous. Michael thinks it was the chicken we got since it was frozen and not fresh; I think it was either my constant consumption yesterday or maybe a slight symptom.
- Today I woke up with some cramps in my side and so hungry again. I figured both were related to having gotten rid of most my dinner the night before. Now as lunch time approaches I still have the pain in my left side, have eatten my breakfast bar and milk, two handfuls of trail mix, still have room for lunch - and still have the pain in my side.
I don't want to get my hopes up, but I never get pains like these. Seven more days until I can even think about testing, but I really hope my body isn't just playing tricks on me.
